Blogging has taken Deborah Carraro from soup to nuts and beyond. With four blogs and counting, she is becoming a one-woman blog network. Next adventure for Deborah is writing the Great Novel on a blog .. but of course!
Blogger Story Teller: Deborah Carraro, My Partner Advantage, From Aunt Annie's Kitchen To Yours, Monday Nite Raw, TheBestBizResources
A few years ago, blogging was a mystery to me. And then the magic started to happen. I got hired by one of the top internet marketers as his right hand gal - and got an online marketing education overnight.
Quickly I learned the ins and outs of shopping carts, article marketing, and opt-in lists - but my favorite tool was by far the blog.
I started one almost right away - on blogger - but within a year had moved over to TypePad where I now host four blogs and am continually looking for new and interesting ways to use blogs:
- I ghost-blog (writing posts on behalf of clients).
- I've created blogs that showcase affiliate links Biz Building Blocks & Monday Nite Raw .
- I've created a blog as a unique way to support a product I've developed From Aunt Annie's Kitchen
It's hard for non-bloggers to believe but I spend about two hours each morning touring the different blogs I own and contribute to, to write my daily musings. As always, my own blog suffers - but I sure do have fun posing as an online journalist and always manage to post to my own blogs (especially late at night when I should be sleeping!).
The newest blog idea I'm playing with is to write a serial novel by blog - post a new chapter once a week and invite readers to contribute ideas and incorporate it into the next episode. Could be the start of the Great Novel I know is buried deep inside! Be sure to keep an eye on my blogs because I'm certain that before too long - the novel will start appearing!
For me, blogging isn't just a marketing tool though my first introduction to blogging was as a way to improve SEO rankings & beginning an ongoing conversation with prospective clients.
For me, blogging is about getting the chance to tell your story. Everybody's got a story - what's yours?
What you composed was very logical. But, consider this, suppose you were to write a awesome headline? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your website, however suppose you added a post title to maybe get folk's attention? I mean Blogger Stories: Blogger Stories: Deborah Carraro is kinda boring. You could look at Yahoo's home page and watch how they write article titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a related picture or two to grab people excited about everything've written. Just my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.

Its like you lwarn my mind! You appear to knjow so much about this, such as you wrote the book in iit or something. I feel that you can do with a few p.c. to power thee message house a bit, however instead of that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I will certainly be back.

Nice and honest story but just one question, is a forum not a better way to communicate with (prospective) clients ? I'm fairly new to blogging so excuse me if this sound a bit silly...Just try to figure out what's the best way to improve my realations with potential clients and start a good interaction. Thxs,
dave
